The Chairman, The Indian Council of legal Aid & Advice, Supreme Court, New Delhi says, "It is indeed very kind of you to offer your services to the Indian Council of Legal Aid & Advice. We would be most grateful indeed, If you would kindly give us your opinion on this question, which we would place before their lordships, of the Supreme court.
Mr. Danial Latiffi, Bar at Law, Senior Advocate, Supreme court, New Delhi vide letter dt. 8.3.82 says, "............. I have carefully studied the report you have prepared regarding the signatures.........."
I think you have brought out the significant features of the signatures under scrutiny both by the enlargements and by the lucid reasoning. I have no doubt that it will be considrable assistance to the court, when in due course the matter comes before their Lordships" ......... (Opinion submitted before Hon'ble Supreme Court of India)"
 
Shri A. T. Munnoli, Principal Munsif, Hubli in O.S. 378/89 (D.D. 29-1-89) says......" One Handwriting Expert P.W.4 (Shri A.L. Lingaiah, an expert of Government of Karnataka at Banglore ) has given his opinion. Another expert D.W.3(Ashok Kashyap) has given opinion with detailed reasons report of P.W.4 is not trustworthy.It is pointed out that P.W.4 (A.L. Lingaiah) is not qualified whereas D.W.3 (Ashok Kashyap) is duly qualified in the specific science of Handwriting and has vast experience.It has been proved by the defendant that the suit pronote is got up one. The suit is dismissed".......... GOVERNMENT EXPERT DISBELIEVED
 
Hon'ble Mr. Justice Chettur Shankaran Nair, Judge Kerala High court Ernakulam, in S.A. 33/91 (D.D. 16-7-92) says. " The trial court held that Ex. B-7 produced by the defendant was a piece of forgery. It came conclusion relying largely on Ex. C-1 (report of Shri Ashok Kashyap Document Expert, Delhi). The Appeal court also found that Ex. B-7 was not genuine. The finding of facts are reasonable. The appeal fails and is dismissed."
 
Hon'ble Munsiff, Kodungallur (Kerala) in OS. 182/92 (D. D. 16-9-93) says,"Ex X-1(Report) is issued by the handwriting expert Mr. Ashok Kashyap of International reputation.......... There are number of Judgments of the High Courts in India and the Supreme Court, the opinion of the handwriting expert is acclaimed and acted. Therefore the judgments of various High Courts and the Supreme Court bear ample testimony of the knowledge of this expert. No hesitation to hold that Ex. A-3 is not executed by the defendant opined by Ashok Kashyap".
 
Hon'ble Mr. Justice George Vadakkal, Judge, Karala High Court Ernakulam (as Appellate Court) in CRP 2281/80-G (D.D. 29-9-80) says . "The lower court (Munsiff Mannarghat) rightly said that there is no proof of executive of Ex-A1 allegedly executed by the defendants (as opinioned by Ashok Kashyap, Document Expert of Delhi)dants. No grounds to admit this C.R.P. Thus, it is dismissed.
 
Hon'ble Mr. Justice I. Panduranga Rao, High Court of A.P., Hyderabad, in C.R.P.No. 582/91 (D.D. 29-9-91) says, "................ Both the learned Controller as well the appellate Authority have arrived at concurrent finding. I therefore, do not find any ground to interfere with the concurrent findings of fact arrived at by the court below. (Both the learned courts below agreeing with the opinion of Expert, Ashok Kashyap that Ex. R-2 is forged). The revision petition is dismissed"
 
Shri V. Venku Reddy,District Judge, Rajahmundry (A.P.) in O.S. No. says ,"..........I am satisfied that Ashok Kashyap is a competent Expert in the art of handwriting and can speak AUGHORITAVELY on it. I agree the opinion expressed by him. I have no hesitation to hold that Ex. not a genuine letter".
 
Sh. V.N. Sehgal Ex-Director Central Forensic Science laboratory (C.F.S.L), R.K. Puram, New Delhi vide his letter did. 10.6.2002 says, "........I am well acquainted with the name of Kashyap family, a household name in legal Circles & their dedicated contribution in the field of document examination. The establishment at Delhi is the oldest in India running since 1935 commanding an all India & International practice. I Strongly recommend it for honest, competent, fair & impartial professional services."
 
Assistant Registrar, High Court of Republic of Singapore in suit No. in SARA BIBI AHMED IBARAHIM ARIF (NIRC NO. S-1039598/D). Plaintiff and Ayasha D/o lbrahim Kasim (NRIC No. S-1356636/F)........ Defendant vide writ of Sub poena AD TESTIFICANDUM issued on 28th April '97 at the request of Kenneth Pereira of Messrs Allen & Aledhill, Solicitor of the Defendant .............. says, "......... You are required to attend by the Hon'ble Judicial Commissioner Lim Teong Qween of court No. 9, The High Court, Singapore, on Monday, the 28th day of April, 1997 at 10.00 a.m. and so from day to day until the end of the above proceedings to evidence on behalf of the said defendant Aiyasha d/o lbrahim Kasim in the said procedings.................Court summons.
 
MR. KENNETH PERAIRA OF ALLEN & GLADHIL ADVOCATES & NOTARY PUBLIC, Robinson Road, Singapore vide letter dtd. 10th September, 1997 says, "Dear Mr Kashyap , thank you for your letter dt. 7.7.1997. This is to confirm that the High Court (Singapore) has accepted your expert opinion and evidence at Singapore. Once again please allow me to thank you for your professional service rendered.
Mr. Iqbal Ismail Dewji, Barrister & solicitor, Toronto (Canada) vide letter dated 10-3-94 says, ".... It was with much interest that I read your publication, I note that your family and yourself are leading authorities in this field " (of questioned document examination).
